Dear Fellow Sovereign Souls,
My name is Joie Leigh! I have been an ordained minister since 2019 but have struggled to find my sacred path, as government marriage in America is rooted in control and implied ownership over another human being. American marriage minimizes the power of unconditional love and makes a mockery of marriage as originally defined in every religion, tradition, or background.
During a moment of deep meditation and introspection, my title, Kaya Raksha, was given to me by spirit in a profound moment of clarity. Its meaning, "Protector of the Sacred Vessel," instantly resonated with me as it eloquently represents the principled beliefs I strive to live by: Non-aggression, individual sovereignty, inclusion, material detachment, community service, and, finally, the greatest of these all being unconditional love.
I believe your love is a sacred vessel, and no one—not the government, not society, nor any dated dogma—has the right to define its contents or demand its obedience. The truth is simple: No one has the right to define the union of souls, except for the souls wishing to be united.
Your intuition is your highest authority, serving as your direct, infallible connection to your soul and the universal collective. When a church, governing body, or community minimizes the power of your intuition, they minimize the power of God, spirit, the Creator, or whatever label resonates with them when referring to a higher power. Only my intuition defines the way that I express love, just as your expression of love should be defined in the same way.
With profound honor and deep reverence, I acknowledge and celebrate the different ways in which human beings express their love. With a deep-rooted desire to finally validate those differences, I will work with each couple or group on an individual basis, listening to that inner wisdom to help them properly portray the power of their distinct love for one another. This is the essence of sovereign souls weddings, and there are no guidelines here—only the unique expression of unconditional love ceremonies.
Yours in love,
Kaya Raksha
It is natural to feel anger and frustration with society's intolerance of individuality. However, those emotions alone will never set us free. We must choose to lead with love despite the hate, rising above it to create the world we want to see.
Now more than ever, it is critical for the evolution of humanity that those of us whom society has rejected stand tall. We must be living examples of the very tolerance and acceptance we’ve been denied, inspiring those who have rejected us to break free from the chains of hate.
